#Togetherwemake – The FINALE – Days 27-30

Nana joined the #togetherwemake 30 Day Craft Project challenge starting April 1. LoveCrafts has invited us to join in the #TogetherWeMake 30 Day Craft Project – a free, global craft project open to everyone! Each day brings a different theme for inspiration along with FREE patterns and project inspiration to keep you motivated.

Today I am sharing all Nana’s projects for Days 27-30!! If you want to see all my creations, you can find the links in Part one HERE

DAY 27 – UNICORN DUST

Let your imagination run wild with today’s theme – unicorn dust!  I have absolutely NOTHING in my house related to unicorns but I have two lovely granddaughters who absolutely adore them.

So, I found the pattern and materials from LoveCrafts to make them both this unicorn amigurumi for Christmas!! What do you think of my choices?? SSHHH! Don’t tell.

DAY 28 – UNDER THE SEA

I have to admit I did not make this today, but when I saw today’s theme I knew I had to share my adventure of “Baby Shark”.

My grandson, Jack was obsessed with the Baby Shark song, so when I found this fabric I knew I had to make him something. What started off as PJ’s soon turned out to be a SINGING stuffed shark. And he LOVES it!

To find out how Nana made this amazing shark, check out this post (complete with a video to hear the shark sing).

DAY 29 – PERFECTLY IMPERFECT

Making is so much more than a finished project! Its a journey of being inspired, of learning new skills, of trial & error and everything in between!

To Learn all about Gauge see Nana’s Learn to Crochet Series

The toughest part of my projects is crochet gauge! For me, it is a matter of trial and error until I get it right. Frog it! Frog it! Lovecrafts has given me the idea of saving all those 4 inch squares and putting them together to create something new! No more frogging – Nana is saving!

What do you do with your gauge squares???

DAY 30 – AROUND THE WORLD

No matter where you are in the world we makers are united through our love of crafts. Whether it’s sharing inspiration, learning new skills, showing love to our global community or finding planet-friendly ways to keep our projects sustainable – together we’re united!

And for Nana, her love is to travel around the world, where all you need is a passport and a camera! Many adventures await as you will see!

I have wanted to make this passport holder since I saw the pattern over a year ago and featured it in the Ten FREE Travel Accessories to sew. In fact, I bought the supplies over a year ago and they have been sitting in my WIP pile since.

Thank you Lovecrafts!!

This project challenge has kept me busy for 30 days! It gave me a lot of inspiration and got me cleaning closets and finishing WIP’s. If you did not participate in April, it’s not to late –  You can start your project at the beginning of the month, the middle of the month, or any random day! You could even spread the 30 prompts out over a couple of months. This project is all about what works for you.
