Sorry, my post is so late today! But it is still Thursday. My week has been so busy, I have not had the opportunity to make anything. Or at least not finish anything.
I did, however, receive some deliveries, that will eventually be turned into great creations!
One of the things that kept me busy this week was that I traveled to Calgary, to attend the Calgary stampede. I had a great time at the rodeo.
While in Calgary, my dear sister gave me a slew of vintage patterns (many belonged to my mother).
But I digress! Let’s talk about the exciting things to come!

A great big box arrived on my doorstep, last Friday. I was so excited to open it and find my second order of the Paintbox yarns I wanted. Inside there were four sweaters for the grandkids, two new tops for me and an afghan for my dear daughter this Christmas.
Of course, I still have to make them!! And will post as they are done. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this yarn! You can find out more about it in my past post.
I had fun sorting these lovely balls into projects. Lovecrafts sends these fabulous little bags that are perfect for just that! The first sweater was started on the road to and from Calgary!
Then, I picked up these cute fat quarters to make another baby quilt. My BFF is going to become a grandmother to twins!! One boy and one girl. This will be made into one of the quilts ( I am thinking boy with dark blue minky on the back).
I also received an odd looking package. This one contained a surprise for YOU!! I have started making this today, but, you will have to wait until August 3 to find out what it is all about but it is exciting! Any guesses??
Must stop posting and get back to making!! Until next week…
