With everyone being more concerned about the environment these days, we continuously look for ways to help out.  One way is to try to save on all that paper that hits the landfill on Boxing Day.  To do my part, I looked for ways to recycle fabric that can be reused again and again!

NUMBER 1 – FABRIC GIFT BAGS

Fabric gift bags are easy to make and can be used over and over.  You can sew these fabric bags in any size to hold small gifts or the largest gift you are giving.  They are great for those odd-shaped, hard to wrap items.

NUMBER 2 – FABRIC WRAP

Heading to a party?  Need a hostess gift?  These gorgeous wine bags and be reused and re-gifted many times!

NUMBER 4 – FABRIC ENVELOPES

Use these fabric envelopes to hold gift cards.  You can also adjust the size to hold CD’s (do we still gift CD’S?), event tickets, family photos, even just a special greeting.

NUMBER 5 – FABRIC GIFT CARD HOLDERS

Another creative way to wrap gift cards are with these versatile gift card holders.  The recipient of one of these can use the wrapping as a small wallet or regift to a friend with another gift card!

NUMBER 6 – MARKET TOTES

Everyone loves market totes.  Rather than using those paper gift bags, wrap your gift in a market tote instead.  These too, can be made in a variety of sizes and your special person can use these for years to come instead of plastic grocery bags!

NUMBER 7 – GIFT TAGS

Homemade gift tags add a personal touch to your gifts.  They tell that person how special they are to you.

NUMBER 8 – STOCKINGS OF ALL SIZES

What better way to wrap a Christmas gift than inside a stocking!  Christmas stockings have a long tradition of being filled with wonderful things.  Sew one up for your special ones and fill them with your wonderful gifts.

NUMBER 10 – FABRIC BASKETS

When does your wrapping also become a gift?  When they can be used after the gift-giving is over.  Fabric baskets are probably my favorite things to use because they are fun to fill with a variety of items.  Make your gift baskets more colorful and exciting by starting with your handmade fabric basket.  Fill with homemade baking, craft supplies, bath products.  The ideas are endless!!
