DAY SEVEN – OK, ORGANIZATION

“A place for everything, and everything in its place” is the ideal for makers everywhere, but not everyone has storage that works well.  HMMM – If you saw Nana’s craft room, you would see how much organization I need. But doesn’t every crafter??

Nana has a large walk-in closet chock full of unorganized supplies. My goal during this isolation period is to get into that closet and set it straight. This will be more than a one day project, so for today, I started small. Step One – cut my stash into usable precuts.

Day Eight – Wonder Wardrobe

It’s time for a wardrobe makeover! Use this capsule wardrobe planner from LoveCrafts to sort the unwearables from the old faithfuls, and upcycle old favorites!

OK, I made this awhile ago but put it away before it was finished. Love this challenge because things are getting done. I spent the evening today finishing the neckline and sleeves, then tucked in all my ends.

This FREE pattern was the #1 most pinned, most viewed pattern from Nana’s Favorites website for 2019. I made mine using Paintbox Aran in raspberry!

Day Nine – Purrfect Cats

Today’s the day to celebrate those kitties – knit them, stitch them and crochet them and even make them something to wear!

I sure hope I don’t lose some followers today, but Nana is not a cat lover. Sure they are cute and cuddly, but my dog absolutely hates them and because I love her, there are no cats in my life!

I searched my stash and I had absolutely nothing kittie!! So, in honor of this challenge, I designed an applique cat in the style of Laurel Burch and made myself a market bag. If you want a copy of the applique template CLICK HERE.

Day Ten – Evening Embellishments

 Today’s prompt is to channel your inner sparkle, glitz, and glamour! Oh so many things to make, it was hard to pick just one!

One of my favorite things to make are these gorgeous crocheted earrings! They are simple, yet elegant and one of a kind. With the choice of crochet cottons and beads you can make them for every outfit – daytime or evening!
