Easter is near!  And you’re in a panic!  Have no fear there is still time to make some great holiday gifts and decor.  And the easiest way to dress up anything?

Applique of course!

This Easter, I created four quirky little characters.  The patterns for these cute little guys can be found in my brand new Etsy store. The store is kind of empty, but hey, I’m just starting out and plan to offer a lot of What Nana Makes in there.  

So what can you make with them that is quick and easy??

QUILT BLOCKS

Add these guys to an 8-1/2 x 8-1/2 piece of your favorite fabric to create some fabulous quilt blocks.  Then use these blocks to make a quilt – table cloth or runner – or throw pillow.

FESTIVE CLOTHING

I added bunnies and chicks to a few plain T-shirts to make adorable holiday tees.  You could also add them to tanks, tunics and children’s dresses!

BAGS, TOTES, PURSES OR BACKPACKS

I created some gift bags that I plan to stuff with Easter goodies.  But you could add them to your shopping tote, any purse or Johnny’s backpack.  

DECORATE YOUR HOME

The possibilities are endless.  Go Ahead…Applique EVERYTHING.  It’s FUN!!
